Gifts may be made to honor or memorialize a friend, family member or loved one. These gifts are acknowledged to the donor and to the person being honored or to the person’s family if he/she is being memorialized.

A donation can be made to commemorate a significant life event. These gifts are acknowledged to the donor and to the person whose event is being commemorated.

A bequest is a gift of money or property made through a will. Charitable bequests often reduce or eliminate estate taxes. Discuss this option with your attorney.
