Here's what some of our grant recipients have to say.
"Whitney is doing wonderfully. She is a funny, happy, and strong little girl. She had a surgery for her left hip dysplasia last summer and will have another in August. She is running, jumping, riding a bike, swimming. She's incredible. I've attached a recent picture of her for you to see. I am so lucky to be Whitney's mom.
Things with Whitney have gone so well that I have decided to adopt again so another child who needs a home can have one and so Whitney can have a sibling."

"Helpusaodpt.org helped us to make our dream come true! Thanks to your grant, we are now parents to a beautiful baby girl! She is everything we had ever hoped and prayed for. It is pretty incredible to realize that someone you don't even know cared enough to help us become a family. We will forever be thankful to you for the grant we received."

"Just wanted to give you a quick update and let you know that Duc and I are doing really well. He is SO much fun! He started walking at 9 months, tried to climb his first tree at 10 months and started running at 11 months. He loves to giggle and eats like a horse! His doctors say he is incredibly bright and I have to agree--not much gets past him.
I hope you are doing well. It's been exciting to get emails from you about what HelpUsAdopt is up to and I always get excited when I see your organization listed somewhere--like the most recent AF magazine. I'm so glad to see all the wonderful publicity you are getting."

"I am sitting at my kitchen table with my strong, beautiful new daughther who is eating Cherrios, drinking milk, and giggling. What a joy! The grant from Helpusaodpt.org allowed me to bring this precious girl home so that she can have the brightest future possible. In addition to the amazing financial support provided by Helpusadopt.org, it has been comforting to know that others were cheering me on through the process of my daughter's adoption. I will be forever grateful for this gift."

"We cannot emphasize enough how it was such a welcome relief to know that HelpUsAdopt had already taken care of financing all our in-China travel arrangements through our adoption agency...
...HelpUsAdopt cared enough to do something to make a difference, to be the change, to make others aware through your struggles and passion for children and families. I know that sometimes it seems there's never enough that can be done, but our family is grateful you have touched our lives. One family at a time, you've made a difference in ours."

"There are no words for what Helpusadopt.org did for us. The grant was a miracle and took away all the stress of wondering how we would ever complete the costs of Evan's adoption. You let us take a deep breath and enjoy our new baby without worrying every minute about the money. Thank you for all that you do. We will never forget your generosity."

"I've prayed for a family for the past nine years... and finally decided that adoption as a single woman was my answer---but money was the hurdle standing in my way. There are several grant programs for assistance, but most do not support single parenthood the way Helpusaodpt.org does. Words cannot express how thankful I am that Helpusaodpt.org selected me to receive a grant. My Son, will be coming home this summer thanks to your gracious gift that has changed my life. Thank you!"

"The last 3 months of our lives have been crazy...in the best way possible!! After 6 years of trying
to have a baby and waiting for an adoption match, our dreams have come true.
March 13, 2010 our son, Jonathan Theodore, was born. We were able to be
right there at his birth and spend every minute of his life together. We
had the best possible experience at the hospital and with his birthmother.
It was wonderful. It's be a whirlwind since his birth. Jason was able to
take 6 weeks off from work to stay home with Jonathan and me. It was
awesome. We had a wonderful time to bond and begin feeling like a family.
After Jason went back to work, I enjoyed getting into a rhythm with
Jonathan and finally having my dream job...stay-at-home mom! On May 20th we
went to court and the adoption became legal. Everything is complete...he is
ours forever! It's the most wonderful feeling in the world.
We are so extremely grateful for being chosen for a Help Us Adopt grant."

"At first, the state that I was adopting my son from was going to assist with the adoption expenses since I was adopting out of the foster care system. Then due to the economy, I found out that the assistance would not be available. I did not know how I would cover these unexpected bills and started looking for a second job. I was concerned that my additional work hours might impact my time with my new son but I kept searching. When I learned that I had received a grant from Helpusaodpt.org I couldn't believe it! Now instead of working a second job, I am an assistant coach for my son's Little League Baseball team and we are both having a great time! Thank you Helpusadopt.org"
