I spent 14 years in foster care and was adopted a few years ago as a teenager. Some don’t seem to understand what it can do to a teen when adopting them. For me it was life changing I always got told that it would take forever to be matched and that it probably wouldn’t happen.

 

God is good and it all came when it needed. I was adopted into a loving home, a home that had 8 other kids. A home that cares and looks out for me. A home that helps me follow my dreams to want to share my story and become a social worker.
