My name is Darrick Rizzo. I am a birth father.

 

I am a businessman, mentor, and community leader. I am the owner of Rizzo Productions, an organization that helps high school athletes prepare to make their college dreams come true.

 

I write and speak about open adoption, birth father rights, communicating with adoptive parents, and keeping in touch with adopted children. My first book, The Open Adoption, with a foreword written by Baltimore Ravens’ Michael Oher, details my own experience with placing my baby boy for adoption.
